I”ve been to KC before, and I almost forgot what a fun city it is! The people are friendly, the food is yummy, the Power and Light district is bangin’! Oh yeah, right, I was there to work…almost forgot…it doesn’t seem like work when you’re having such a good time!
The KC Remodeling Show is also one of the best in the country. It’s inspiring to see, in these hard times, a show that was packed with vendors and attendees. My presentation was SAVE ENERGY, SAVE MONEY, SAVE THE EARTH. My demonstration included how to build a rain barrel. Many lovely people asked if I had written instructions on how to build it and I promised I’d get it up on line….and I will! So if you’re checking, I’ll post detailed instructions by the end of the week!

Let me start by sharing a fun fact about myself--as a baby I was tagged with the nickname "Norma-do." Tenacious and independent little bugger, whenever an adult would try to do something for me, I'd push them away and say, "No...Norma do!" Well here I am, decades later still saying the same thing--and boy have I. Life adventures and careers have taken me from here to Europe and back and all around this incredible country of ours. It's so cool to now have a place where I can share some of what Norma-do's doing!
